Sustainability is a huge topic that will continue to grow in popularity over the next decade and beyond. At MK Construction & Builders, Inc., we want to help Chicagoland residents help the environment through cutting-edge technologies, including solar panels. In fact, the state of California requires new houses to feature solar panels in an attempt to utilize Mother Nature as a way to power our homes and our lives, and we expect other states to follow suit. In fact, solar energy accounts for approximately 1.6 percent of the U.S.’ total electricity generation, a number that will only go up.
